Christy began her real estate career in 2001. She was invited to represent a new construction development as the sales agent for a local builder. There, she learned to bring parties together, mitigating differences between buyers and contractors.

In 2002, she joined Dickson Realty and worked exclusively with one of the company's broker-owners.
